A year ago, I dedicated the entire month of July to a conversation I’d been avoiding for 20+ years. 🕊️ My TikTok “On This Day” just reminded me — and I had to sit with it for a minute. Last July on The Season of Self Love, I opened up about my decision to remove my breast implants. Not just implants — my final mask. My last costume. The last piece I was still performing for everyone else. Surgery day was August 12, 2025. I’m almost a year out now, still actively healing (recovery doesn’t move on anyone else’s timeline), but I feel GOOD in this body. Lighter. More me than I’ve ever been. What made that series so powerful wasn’t just my story — it was the women who trusted me enough to share theirs too. That’s what self-love in community looks like.
