White rooms sometimes get a bad reputation for feeling cold or one-dimensional, but when they’re thoughtfully designed, they can feel incredibly warm and inviting.
In this Palm Beach kitchen, a restrained palette allows the details to shine and also creates an opportunity for the eye to rest since the spaces around it are filled with color and pattern. The mix of finishes, subtle texture, natural greenery, and abundant light creates depth without relying on bold color.
One of my favorite things about designing with white is that every decision matters. When done well, the result feels fresh, airy, and anything but boring.
