When I was cutting together daily recap videos on tour, my main goal was to take the raw energy of the band and communicate it straight to the screen. You can do this by treating your timeline like a dance routine. 1. Sync the Hits: Make sure the cuts feel connected to the music. Use a snare hit when the snare hits, or a heavy crash to motivate a big transition moment. 2. Match the Movement: Keep the energy moving forward across cuts. If the guitarist or the singer spins to the right, the very next clip could truck in the same direction. 3. Think Like a Dancer: Approach the sequence like pure choreo. Lately, my AI experiments have been inspired by the pop-locking style of the Jabbawockeez and the aesthetic vibe of Chris Cunningham to make every single cut feel connected and intentional. #VideoEditing #MusicVideoDirector #Filmmaking #AIVIsuals #TourMedia
