It's been a fun experiment using a net to land Yellowtail tunas instead of a gaff. I'm mind blown how many people will just stick these amazing eating game fish right in the meat, the belly or just about anywhere if they stick the fish at all with a gaff. Those hours spent at 22nd Street Landing as a young punk practicing my gaffing on oranges in the harbor went further than I ever thought lol.
