Kenny Omega has accepted MJF's challenge for the AEW World Championship, setting up a title match on next week's Dynamite: Beach Break. Omega closed this week's Dynamite with a promo confirming he will face the champion, with a major stipulation attached: if Omega loses, he can never challenge for the AEW World Championship again.
Reflecting on his career, Omega said, "I've done this for almost 30 years, more than half my life. There has been no greater passion, no greater pleasure than stepping through these ropes and giving you people everything that I have."
He explained what a win would mean, saying he could "stand on the greatest stage that AEW has ever stepped foot on in Wembley Stadium" and face Will Ospreay, the winner of the Owen Hart Cup.
