We are thrilled to welcome a familiar face back to Glenside, as alumni Mary Murray ‘20 has been named the Head Softball Coach here at Arcadia! She becomes the 6th Head Coach in the program’s history. One of the most decorated players in program history, Murray comes back home after spending 6 years as an assistant coach at Division III powerhouse Rowan University. During her time with the Profs, she was a part of 4 World Series runs, 4 NJAC Tournament titles, and mentored a pitching staff that was consistently in the top 5 ERA in the nation. Murray was a 3x All-MAC selection during her career, losing her senior year to the pandemic in 2020. She was MAC Pitcher of the Year and NFCA First Team All-Region in 2019 with a 0.86 ERA, helping lead AUSB to a historic conference championship title and program-first NCAA Tournament appearance.
