We are proud to have awarded an honorary degree to deaconbluemusic!   The band are the first recipients of a collective honorary degree in our 575-year history.   The honour acknowledges the band’s enduring influence on Scotland’s cultural landscape.   Of course, our organist had to play ‘Dignity’ as the band processed out of the special graduation ceremony!   Congratulations to Ricky, Lorraine, Dougie, Lewis and Gregor.
