On today’s edition of #photosfromthefield TOPD Deputy Jorge Gomez responded to a call for service in the area of Erbes Road and Avenida De Los Arboles regarding a possible DUI driver that was nearly causing traffic collisions. Deputy Gomez located the vehicle and initiated a traffic enforcement stop for multiple traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle showed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and ultimately was arrested. The driver had a 0.22% BAC. Yikes! 😳 Upon conducting a vehicle search, a firearm was located in the center console. Double yikes! 😬 The driver was ultimately arrested for DUI and firearms related offenses. A job well done by Deputy Gomez for helping keep Thousand Oaks safe!
