This year’s X Games was a reminder of why this sport is so special. Unforgettable moments. Never been done tricks. Gold medal performances. And a new generation of riders stepping up, pushing the level, and creating their own golden moments in real time. It was incredible to watch the youth of the sport not just chase history, but start writing their own. The future is bright, fearless, and full of possibility. One of the most meaningful parts of the week for me was seeing Dave Mirra’s family and sharing a moment with them. Being able to talk about what Dave meant to me, what he gave to BMX, and the impact he still has on all of us was something I will never forget. Dave’s influence is still everywhere. In the tricks.
