Today, the Supreme Court issued a decision that permits states to determine whether transgender girls and women can participate in girls’ and women’s sports. We recognize that this decision may bring a wide range of emotions for trans student-athletes, their teammates, coaches, families, and communities. As conversations around this issue continue, many athletes, especially those directly impacted, may experience uncertainty, stress, or a diminished sense of belonging.
