Fire Moon. It’s been so hard to watch this Gold Mountain fire burn across these mountains I love so much but to see a fire go from just a spot fire on the ridge to 13000+ acres is wild. It’s something I hope to never witness again. I had told Jen last night I wanted to shoot the Full moon last night but we didn’t get back in time so tonight I wanted to shoot it. Earlier today as the fire seemed to jump right over a mountain I knew the Moon was going to rise right above where the newest part of the fire was. It was such an eerie thing to see the Moon rise above that.
