Day one was Saturday, with a wrap-up on Sunday. There will be two more two-day editions later in the summer. A little under 100 people showed up Saturday to watch the bake-off and cheer on the bakers. Like in the TV show, contestants Saturday were tasked with completing complicated, timed challenges such as the “signature bake,” the “technical bake” and “the showstopper” – all in front of dozens of people who love both the TV show and baked goods.
