Protections for outdoor workers in the heat must include: 📋 A written plan, agreed with workers, on what to do when it gets dangerously hot. ⏸ Scheduled rest breaks in a cooling area and/or change in working schedule 💧 Access to drinking water, hygienic toilets, and handwashing stations throughout the shift 🧢 Appropriate heat-protective and personal protection equipment 👥 Buddy checks for early signs of heat illness 🛑 The right and permission to stop work when feeling unwell Check guidance that helps employers and governments protect workers from extreme heat. #BeatTheHeat
