To commemorate nation’s 250th anniversary, nine of Adams Township Community Park’s 100 acres was picked as the setting. As for the event itself, the celebration featured food trucks, beverages from three local breweries and booths with local representatives of nonprofit organizations. Other activities included the park’s splash pad, a kid zone with games, bingo at the park’s War Memorial Pavilion and cornhole set up next to a beer garden, which provided shelter from the sun early in the event. “This is really just a township event to bring the community together to celebrate 250 years of our country,” Mike Tylka, township manager said. #america250 #celebration #adamstownshippa #butlercountypa
