White Cube wishes a Happy Birthday to Tracey Emin đâ
â
In 1996, Tracey Emin locked herself in a Stockholm gallery for three weeks to reconcile her anxieties around painting, which she had stopped producing in 1990.â
â
During this period, she created a deeply personal collection of paintings, drawings and objects.â
â
The works have been preserved as the installation âExorcism of the Last Painting I Ever Madeâ, which is currently on view at Tate Modern in its original constellation.â
â
đ On view at âTracey Emin: A Second Lifeâ at Tate Modern, London until 31 August 2026.â
