Your body is a lot like a car. š
Cars need gas. Your muscles need carbohydrates.
When you eat carbs, your body stores them as glycogen (think of it as your muscles' fuel tank). During hard workouts like lifting, running, swimming, or HIIT, your body uses that fuel to help you move faster, lift heavier, and keep going.
If the tank is almost empty, your workout will probably feel harder. You'll get tired sooner, your performance drops, and even concentrating can become more difficult.
Carbs aren't the enemy. They're fuel. The key is eating the right amount for your body, your goals, and your training.
So if you're training hard, don't be afraid to fuel your body. Your muscles will thank you. šŖš
Save this for the next time someone tells you that carbs are "bad." š
