A struggling tomato plant doesn’t always need more water, more fertilizer, or more pruning. Sometimes that extra attention is exactly what’s holding it back. 🍅 Tomatoes do best when their roots can breathe, their nutrients stay balanced, and they have enough healthy foliage to turn sunlight into energy. So before you reach for the hose, fertilizer, or pruning shears, take a closer look. Let the top few inches of soil dry between deep waterings. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers that create a giant green bush with very little fruit. And prune with a purpose. Clear the bottom leaves and improve airflow, but leave plenty of those solar panels intact. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your tomatoes is simply stop loving them quite so aggressively 😂 #tomato #garden #tips #plant #shilohfarm
