I got chickens because I wanted fresh eggs. What I didn’t expect was everything else they’d bring to our lives. They turn kitchen scraps into something useful, help keep bugs in check, and their manure does wonders for our garden soil. There’s also something incredibly satisfying about stepping outside and collecting food you raised yourself. But I should warn you… farm-fresh eggs will absolutely spoil you. Once you’ve had eggs from hens that are living their best lives and getting the nutrition they need from @Purina Feed , it’s hard to enjoy store-bought eggs the same way again.
