An Arizona Corvette driver was arrested after DPS says he was caught racing over 120 MPH on I-10 in Phoenix. According to AZDPS, a trooper was driving near 27th Avenue around 12:30 a.m. when he spotted two sports cars lined up side-by-side and slowing traffic before both rapidly accelerated. Troopers say the Corvette reached speeds over 120 MPH in a posted 65 MPH zone before the driver was pulled over. The driver was arrested for criminal speed, reckless driving and racing. DPS also impounded the Corvette for 20 days after the driver told troopers he needed the car for work. Do you think a 20-day impound is enough for someone caught racing over 120 MPH?
