On a hot Saturday afternoon with heatwaves distorting the far side of the pitch, HEX Tempest hosted LVU rush in WPSL East action. HEX controlled the tempo for the first 10-15 minutes of the game, but the teams soon settled in. The end of the first half saw HEX pull away with the lead in the 44’ off a Fisher goal, which was quickly answered by Craig for LVU in the 45’. In the 48’ Fisher again stepped up and out one away for HEX, and while the rest of the second half saw some chances, Marciano sealed the win for HEX with a goal in the 80’.
