βš½πŸ‹ Soccer is all about showing up for your team, and that's exactly what Jackson did for his little sister, Emmy. After Emmy was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) just before the holidays, her older brother wanted to find a way to celebrate her during one of the hardest parts of her treatment. Rather than delaying her birthday, Jackson organized two lemonade stand events, including a 4v4 soccer fundraiser with their San Diego Sockers Youth community. Thanks to the support of more than 100 players, 50 volunteers, friends, family, and neighbors, Emmy's 7th birthday became a day filled with soccer, lemonade, and hope. Together, their community raised more than $14,000 for childhood cancer research, showing the incredible impact people can have when they come together for a child facing cancer.
