I’m happy to share that today, asmpnational and nanpapix named a photograph I took at lowellfolkfest a couple of years ago the 1st Judges’ Choice in the Lifestyle category of this year’s Best Of competition. This will always be one of my favorite photographs I’ve ever made. Not just because of the moment, but because of the Dominican representation in it. As the son of two immigrants from the Dominican Republic, this image holds a special place for me.
