A new #technology uses spider-silk inspired hydrogel fibers to enable high-resolution imaging inside tiny, narrow tissue structures like breast ducts. The system integrates light-transmitting polymer fibers with a deep learning framework to reconstruct microscopic features and evaluate tumors. By combining these soft fibers with AI, the platform successfully classified breast tumor subtypes with an accuracy of 93.97% while minimizing mechanical damage to delicate tissue spaces.
