Throwback to seven years ago—when adventure riding became a part of my life. This photo was taken in Joshua Tree on a rented BMW R1200 GSA. We rode through rain, desert storms, mud, dirt, and miles without pavement. It wasn’t always comfortable, but it was unforgettable. That ride sparked something. Since then, I’ve owned different adventure bikes, each one a little different, but they’ve all given me that same feeling of freedom that started right here.
