Lucas White is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Penn State Football, working in his first year under Director Reid Kagy and Head Coach Matt Campbell.
He is in his 13th season as a strength coach and his 11th at the collegiate level, with previous stops at Iowa State, Boise State, San Jose State, Indiana State, New Mexico State, Mississippi State, and F.J. Reitz High School in his hometown of Evansville, Indiana.
White is a practitioner of the conjugate method in a collegiate team setting and one of the few coaches actively applying Westside-influenced periodization principles inside a Power Five football program.
He advocates for specialty bars — safety squat bars, cambered bars, Swiss bars — as essential diagnostic tools, not optional accessories.
