Everyone tells you 1→2 is harder. And logistically? It is. But nobody tells you it’s also when support gets better (not always! But a lot of the time). With one kid, it’s easy for one parent to the default parent. With two, there’s no version where he can’t step up he has to learn the ropes and also become the default parent.
