Join us in celebrating the stories of freedom that began right here in our own backyard. 🇺🇸✨ “Revolution Close to Home: Hampton Roads and the Struggle for American Independence,” on view now through Oct. 25 in the William M. Grace Community Gallery, explores America’s fight for independence through a local lens, highlighting the pivotal role Hampton Roads played in the Revolutionary War. Organized by Christopher Newport University’s Virginia 250 Committee, this exhibition features student research, archaeological discoveries, immersive AR experiences, and artifacts from across the region. *Please note: In observance of the Fourth of July, the Torggler will be closed on Saturday, July 4. We will resume regular hours on Sunday, July 5. Learn more about the exhibition and additional VA250 programming at thetorggler.org. #thetorggler
