The Cannon Ballers are making an impact that goes far beyond the scoreboard. Through our Score to Give More partnership with Food Lion Feeds, every run scored at Atrium Health Ballpark helps provide meals for neighbors across our community. During the month of June, the Cannon Ballers crossed home plate 50 times, resulting in 5,000 meals to support local families facing food insecurity. Matthew Boughton and Jaden Fauske helped lead the way, each scoring 8 runs at home and accounting for 800 meals apiece. With April, May, and June combined, Cannon Ballers baseball has already helped generate 18,600 meals this season. What happens between the lines matters.
