Today’s Sexual Assault Prevention Grant Spotlight is on charlestonsouthern 💙 Earlier this year, Charleston Southern University launched Because He First Loved, a campuswide initiative focused on building healthy romantic, platonic, and professional relationships. Developed through a collaborative effort between Title IX, Counseling Services, Campus Ministries, Events, and student organizations, the program created meaningful opportunities for students to engage in conversations around respect, communication, and healthy boundaries. More than 170 students participated in programming throughout the week, with six campus partners working together to bring the initiative to life. The impact extended beyond the events themselves, with 10–15 follow-up conversations and support connections taking place.
