So I decided to hike Molly’s Knob Trail in Marion, VA. Because apparently, I enjoy making questionable choices in 90-degree weather. The trail is about 3.7 miles round trip with 1,000 feet of elevation gain—which is just a fancy way of saying: it’s uphill. The entire time. Your thighs will scream. Your soul will question everything. It’s rated ‘moderate to strenuous,’ but I think the real difficulty depends on how emotionally stable you are that day. I personally took three snack breaks and briefly considered turning back to become one with the moss. But I made it to the top—and the view? Insane. 360 degrees of Appalachian magic. And a bench. Which, honestly, was the real MVP. Would I do it again? Yes. But next time, I’m bringing a reward. Like pizza. Or a donkey to carry me. marionvirginia #hungrymotherstatepark #vırgınıaısforlovers #virginiastatepark #hike #hiking #videography #video #appalachianmountains #appalachian_explorers
