Random Side Quest #1 has entered the chat! FUN FACT: Growing up, I just knew I’d either become a veterinarian or a speleologist. 😂 Yesss, I’m in my mid-30s now 🙄😂 but I’m still fascinated by animals and caves! Getting to return to the SAME cave at raccoonmtncaverns that sparked my love for spelunking while I was in visitchatt for the witsummit was such a full-circle moment. I know caves get a bad rep for being spooky, but that’s exactly what I love about spelunking (I actually go 2-4 times a year). It forces you out of your comfort zone, challenges you in ways you don’t expect, and gives you a chance to completely disconnect from the outside world (Also, there’s an experienced guide whose entire job is making sure you stay safe… because I’m a spelunker, not an expert. 😂 Please guide me.).
