They say it like it’s a compliment and a question at the same time. I don’t know how you do it. The honest answer: I didn’t know I had a choice. Whether it’s twins, three under three, four kids in five years, or a house that is just always, always full, nobody handed you a manual. Nobody confirmed you were ready. They just arrived, one by one or two at a time, and the job was already yours. So you do it. Some days beautifully. Some days by the skin of your teeth. Most days somewhere in between. I’m Sydney — mom of 5, twin boys just turned three months, three other big kids at home, exclusively breastfeeding both boys.
