Meeting him years later was a full-circle moment after being too nervous to get his autograph as a kid. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to get to know him and his family, and I’m grateful to call many of them friends. No matter how many times I see him, there’s always that feeling of meeting a legend. They say don’t meet your heroes, but Bret has never disappointed me. He inspired generations of wrestlers and fans, represented Canada with pride, and helped make me a lifelong wrestling fan.
