Originally I wasn’t even going to do a physical save the date. Most of our wedding guests are in town so it seemed pointless. Until I remembered…. I have been extra since the day I was born and I LOVE a little craft. I also love stationary in general and think it’s such fun way to express yourself and give guest that first “MOMENT” of what the vibe of the wedding will be. There is basically 0 opportunity to use stationary and design invites in my day to day life so why not go big???? I genuinely loved how they turned out and we were lucky enough to get the napkins on sale so we spent under $100 (besides the embroidery machine, which I will now use all the time to get my moneys worth hahah)
Please note: If you want to embroider your save the dates just keep in mind that it takes FOREVER. I think the full time to complete one (prep the napkin, add the stabilizer and hoop, embroider, pull the back stabilizer off, rinse the water soluble stabilizer on the front off and iron) took 20 to 3...
