Just hours after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against an Executive Order on citizenship signed by President Donald Trump on his first day back in office, he asked Congress to intervene. In a post on Truth Social, he wrote, "The Supreme Court upheld Birthright Citizenship, which is too bad for our Country, but we can easily make it up in Congress through Legislation, with the support of the President, that has now been determined during this process. No long and unwieldy Constitutional Amendment is necessary!" Speaker of the House Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., was asked about it on Fox News Sunday.
