One of the Fresno County Sheriff's Department’s patrol boats sank at Shaver Lake on Tuesday. Citizens called to inform the department that one of the patrol boats had sunk while in its slip at the Camp Edison Dock. The boat was being prepared for the lake fireworks show scheduled for Wednesday. Dive and rescue crews used airbags to re-float the boat.
