Summer’s been asking me for weeks if she could finally give her review of “Human Body Theater” by mariswicks. Although it’s written for readers ages 10–14, at six years old, she said she was ready to read it. She’s already read it three times. 😂
The question I know I’ll be asked is: How did she get here? We know every child is born with their own unique gifts. Language is one of hers. Our job as parents is to nurture those gifts, encourage curiosity, and build a home where books are a part of everyday life for both of our children.
Our shelves are full of books we’ve collected over the years—books we’ve read during pregnancy, books we’ve read hundreds of times before bed, books that have sparked conversations, expanded vocabulary, answered big questions, encouraged imagination, and helped foster a true love for learning.
