🔥 TRAIL BLAZING IN BLACK BOOTS. When Caylie learned she could operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment for CAL FIRE, she went for it! Caylie got her shot after completing the requirements and more than three years of working as a dozer swamper, walking alongside the dozer and clearing debris to support safe operations. Caylie says her goal wasn’t to be CAL FIRE’s first female heavy fire equipment operator. It was simply to operate heavy equipment for CAL FIRE.
