🚌 Transportation Update for the 2026–2027 School Year As part of La Joya ISD's Transportation Optimization Plan, updated pickup and drop-off guidelines will take effect for the 2026–2027 school year. 📍 Key Updates: 🏫 Pre-K–2nd Grade: Door-to-door transportation will continue with no changes. 🚌 Grades 3–5: Students will use designated neighborhood bus stops approximately 0.25–0.3 miles from home. Eligible older siblings may continue riding with younger siblings receiving door-to-door service. 🚶 Middle & High School: Students living within one mile of campus will be in a walk zone. Those outside the walk zone will use designated neighborhood bus stops located within 0.5 miles or less from home.
