A very emotional reunion after 30 years. In April 1992 Dejan and I were teenagers, classmates at the music school and best friends in Sarajevo. We were having a beautiful, care free childhood filled with music, love and laughter. In the blink of an eye we were running for our lives to the basement as bombs and gun fights were devastating our city. “After a few days trapped in the house, my friend and I got bored and antsy. We knew we couldn’t go far, but surely, we could venture into the backyard to kick a soccer ball around. Out we went, laughing and playing like we hadn’t a care in the world. When my father realized we were out there, he was livid, and demanded we come back inside immediately. Reluctantly, we did.
