A lot goes into making a division one athletic program hum including tons of work from folks behind the scenes. Today marked the last day for our current Gopher Athletic Communication interns who have worked with a variety of sports in their two years at the "U". Jake Ford (left) has served as our team's communication director during this time and has done an amazing job! He has put in tireless hours and effort ensuring our student-athletes and program are taken care of. From ensuring we are positively promoted, coordinating media coverage, nominating us for awards, meticulously stating games, live blogging for fans or a whole wide array of various other responsibilities he has gone FAR above and beyond. Thank you Jake (as well as Justine and Maddie) for all your work and making your respective sports great.
