For Violet and our family, limited conservatorship was the right choice. BUT, I want to be honest with you... This process has been messy and emotional and a lot more to process than I expected. It is not just paperwork. It is a whole thing. If you want to hear more about my personal experience, I shared more in the video a few posts back. Every family's decision will look different. And that is okay. If your child is a young teen, now is the time to start learning about your options. You do not have to have it figured out today. But the more you know now, the more confident and prepared you will feel when that time comes (and each state looks a little different!!) Knowledge is power.
