The Lusaka Netball youth league tipped off this past weekend on the 10th of May with Matero Blue Queens, one of our vibrant Sport In Action teams based in Matero (Matero Hub-site) successfully hosting the opening fixtures at Chitanda School! The event featured U8, U10, U12, U15, and U19 teams. Teams came from across Lusaka, and teams being supported by SIA included: Matero Blue Queens | Amazing Grace | Peace Makers | United Stars | Chibolya | Golden Angels | Ellensdale Gideon Mumba, Zambia National Netball U20 coach and Sport in Actions Netball National coordinator had the following to say. "This league isn’t just about competition, it’s about giving young people a safe, structured space to grow, develop skills, and stay away from negative influences."
