Hillside Young Boots 7-Aside Tournament | Matero Hubsite What an incredible turnout! From 250 participants at kickoff to 311 young stars at the final whistle, the Hillside Young Boots tournament brought energy, talent, and unity to the Hillside Ground in Matero. Hosted during the school holidays in the last week of April (19th-28th) this tournament created a safe, inspiring space for children to grow as athletes and future leaders. Testimonies like 13-year-old Lucky Sikati, who said “it taught me a lot about interacting with others,” and 8-year-old John Tembo, who enjoyed the skills and talent on display, show the tournament’s deep impact. "More than just a game; it was one of our biggest community outreach events of the year for both girls and boys" coach Richard said. #SportForDevelopment #YouthEmpowerment #HillsideYoungBoots #MateroHubsite
