Today, we welcomed Stephen Stewart (Director of sport), Fergus Knight (Assistant director, media and marketing ) Olivia King (Athletic Union president) from St Andrews University and Gethin Smart (Sport Development and workforce manager) from Cardiff Met to our Sport in Action office. We kicked off the day with a productive meeting at our office, outlining the current state of event planning and revising the itinerary. Our team then engaged in a fruitful discussion with the delegation on key issues related to the 20-year celebration. Later, we paid a courtesy call to Olympafrica's Secretary General, Boniface Kambikambi, where our visitors conducted a thorough site mapping and visit to assess the venue's suitability for our event.
