Due to injury, I would always have to start from basically zero and build from the ground up again. The excitement usually would make me want to go and play immediately with perfect form and everything, but that’s not how things are done. Starting small allows you to focus on the fundamentals that will help you build new skills way faster
The beginning of learning a new skill is always the hardest part, it’s frustrating. Feeling like we are good enough is not fun at all. However you are on the right track, keep reaching for failures, you’ll get better faster
Sometimes I get ahead of myself and feel like I’m not moving at all, making no progress. Whenever I feel stuck, I start thinking of smallest task that can get me grounded properly and focused on what I’m doing, and proceed forward with confidence
