I’ve never cloth diapered on vacation WITH in unit laundry before, and I can say with confidence that I’ll be doing this again. It was so much easier than I expected. I brought 14 cloth diapers, which was the perfect number to do a small load of cloth diaper laundry every other day. I also brought 3 reusable swim diapers. This meant that I always had at least 1 clean swim diaper. We were in our bathing suits most of the time, so we did have four swim diaper poops over the 10 days. The swim diaper held onto the poops so well that if she hadn’t told us she pooped, we may not have noticed. For storing soiled diapers, I brought large hanging wet bags and small roll top style bags. The roll tops were great for on the go, and we used the large bags at the hotel to store our normal dirty laundry and the dirty cloth diapers.
