The car ride home matters on both sides🤝 Parents, your athlete does not always need a full breakdown the second they get in the car. Sometimes they need space, support, and a reminder that one game does not change how much they are loved. Athletes, your parents are learning too. They care, they invest, they show up, and they may not always say the perfect thing. That does not mean they are against you. There is responsibility on both sides. Players have to learn how to communicate instead of shutting down or taking frustration out on the people who love them most.
