Here are just some of the memorable images from a tremendous evening as Elijah Kimble ’27 announced his commitment to attend Syracuse University.  Kimble and his family celebrated after they unveiled the decision by walking out on our Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House floor in Syracuse Orange gear to the delight of hundreds in attendance. The outstanding running back from Buffalo, who is New York State’s top-rated recruit in the Class of 2027, shared his thoughts on his decision, as did CHS Football Head Coach Kraig Kurzanski ’84, Assistant Coach Paul Woods and Kimble’s parents in Friday’s ceremony emceed by teacher Bryce Hopkins ’08.  These great images are by standout photographer Dean Gracie ’27 of CHS Digital Media.   Kimble, New York State’s top recruit in the Class of 2027 and the reigning Connolly Cup winner as Western New York’s most outstanding player, received 40 Division I scholarship offers, including several from the very best programs in the country.
