For Elijah Kimble ’27, The Commitment is in.  The outstanding running back from Buffalo, who is New York State’s top-rated recruit in the Class of 2027, announced Friday evening that he has chosen Syracuse University as his college destination.  Kimble and his family unveiled the decision by walking out on our Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House floor in Syracuse Orange gear to the delight of hundreds in attendance. Kimble, the reigning Connolly Cup winner as Western New York’s most outstanding player, received 40 Division I scholarship offers, including several from the very best programs in the country. His top 10 he announced in late 2025 was Indiana, Kansas, Florida, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Washington.
